in all styles of dance.
EXAMS
The Edge offers the
opportunity to sit R.A.D. syllabus exams. Specific exam classes are
available for those students wanting to sit the exams. Exam classes
are not compulsory but are highly recommended for developing the technique
and skills required of the exam.
All R.A.D. students have the opportunity to experience exam conditions
during a mock exam which is held at The Edge studios prior to the official
exams.
Examinations
will take place before an examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance. To pass,
candidates must meet the published assessment criteria and therefore
demonstrate they can confidently proceed to the next level.
The examiner will award one of four pass classifications based on the
performance seen on the day in accordance with the established criteria.
R.A.D.
exams are held at The Edge mid year.
2008
exam dates will be confirmed.
